Muse A and Muse B are planning to get married, but Muse B is in the Army and has one more tour of duty in Afghanistan. They part ways, tearfully, knowing that in one year Muse B will be home again. Muse B is a bomb tech and spends their days and nights defusing bombs and having nightmares about bodies blown to bits when they don’t get the bombs defused in time. Muse A worries about Muse B while staying back home and planning their wedding. Muse A keeps working and trying to do everything normally while cringing every time they hear the gravel in the driveway crunch under tires. Would it be men in uniform coming to tell Muse A the Muse B has died over there? They Skype and write letters all through his tour. Every time Muse B is out of communication, Muse A spends in a panic. Until a year later, Muse B is home, and they reunite.
*Twist one: Muse A finds out she is pregnant while Muse B is gone.
*Twist two: Muse B dies while defusing a bomb in Afghanistan
*Twist three: Muse A and Muse B deal with Muse B coming home with a healthy dose of PTSD.

THE MATE HUNT
It’s time for the annual Mate Hunt. Foreigners from every realm gather in one grand place in hopes of seeking the one destined for them. Some people get lucky on the first visit, others have to try again next year. Muse A has been going every year since reaching marrying age in their kingdom and has yet to find a mate. This year feels different. This year, just by entering the grounds, they can feel that their mate is close by.
This is Muse B’s first year. They’re nervous, sure, but they’re also ultimately excited by all the details they’re learning: fancy rooms equipped with everything for a safe and romantic night in, parties every night, all the food and booze one can ingest, and to top it all off, everyone is single. What’s not to love?
It’s simple to start with. Register your name, get your discreet wristband that shows your preference, get your room number, and start mingling. If you meet someone you’re interested in, simply register your coupling and go at it. It gets difficult after that.
Muse A knows that Muse B is their mate, but in order to fully make the claim, they must wait three days for the next first reveal ceremony after their coupling. If Muse B displays Muse A’s mark after three days, whatever it may be, the mating was successful!

The only thing is, Muse B had done the same only moments prior taking that old booth they had shared. Now, with both of their weddings only months away and the planning process almost finished they know they can’t leave their fiance’s to be together, although it’s all they want in the world. Secretly, the two meet up at the diner and think “it wouldn’t hurt to stay friends, would it?” Oh, but it does.SOMEONE MESSAGE ME MUN WANTS!!!!

paranormal activity au. my muse and your muse just move in together, whether it be as roommate or lovers when a bunch of strange occurrences start happening. starting with simply getting annoyed that the keys on the counter keep being moved. the entity starts to get more aggressive and starts terrorizing the pair.
